Summer Solitude: Art by Andy Owen & Chanda Jamieson

December 9-January 17, 2023, Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs

“Artists Andy Owen and Chanda Jamieson are inspired by the same natural ecosystems of Southwest Florida, but they express themselves through different artistic disciplines. Both have spent their lives here exploring, working and finding solace at the waters edge. Owen uses printmaking and photography to capture the beauty of and show his concern for our estuaries, bays and islands. Born into a commercial fishing family, Jamieson writes poetry expressing the thoughts, feelings and reflections she has while fishing and crabbing the quiet waterways.”
